At your comprehensive eye exam you will be checked for signs or risk factors for eye disease. If any are identified you may be asked to return for special testing.


If you have one or more of the following conditions you may require special testing and/or follow up:

  • Diabetes
  • High blood pressure
  • High cholesterol
  • Cataracts
  • Family history or other risk factor for glaucoma
  • Family history or other risk factor for macular degeneration
