Shantal graduated from the University of Calgary, where she earned her degree in Sociology with a focus on Mental Wellbeing and Resilience. Throughout her academic career, she gained a strong foundation in optical by working in the field, gaining hands-on experience while completing her studies. This unique combination of education and hands-on experience allows her to approach patient care with empathy, professionalism, and a well-rounded understanding of individual needs. 


Shantal is deeply committed to ensuring that every patient feels comfortable and supported during their visit. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling and cherishing moments with family and friends. She also has a flair for cooking and photography, continually seeking creative ways to express herself both inside and outside the clinic.
