BE AMONG THE FIRST TO TRY NEW DRY EYE THERAPIES AT MVO
“Dry Eye Syndrome” is an extremely common condition in our arid Alberta climate. In fact, so many of our patients suffer from this condition that we have created a special division at MVO to help them – our “Dry Eye Treatment and Management Clinic”. Many of you have benefited from new therapies we have prescribed including omega 3 supplements, special tear drop supplements, heat masks and prescription medications. There are many new technologies on the horizon to treat dry eye and we are committed to bringing these to you as soon as they are available.
To this end, we have started a pilot project with Dr. Ahmed Al-Ghoul of Seema Eye Care/Clarity Laser Vision in Calgary. Dr. Al-Ghoul is a cataract surgeon and corneal specialist in Calgary. Through this partnership we will be bringing in new dry eye diagnosis and treatment options to our offices in upcoming weeks.
