RES / REI is specialized in designing frames that represent the quintessence of balanced shapes, contemporary design and sophisticated colour combinations. Through a unique partnership with Mazzucchelli 1849, RES/REI’s creative team crafts custom acetate patterns, resulting in eyewear with original textures and refined style.

Collections

-The Flowers Collection

Flower Collection is inspired by nature. The Flowers develop the theme of the inside-out: one frame inside the other. Two or three acetates with dissimilar colour are combined to achieve this curious aesthetics.

-The Sculptures Collection

The front faces of the models in Sculptures Collection are characterized by an enhanced three-dimensionality on both front and back faces. This particular process highlights the layering of the different patterns in the acetate.

-The Essences Collection

The Essences collection is inspired by the magical world of perfume. Just as fragrances are created by skillfully blending different ingredients, the eyewear in the Essences collection is the result of a careful balance of transparencies and more vibrant colours.

-The Eclipses Collection

The Eclipses collection is named after the astronomical event that occurs when any celestial body, such as a planet or satellite, comes between a light source, a star for example. Each front is characterized by the overlapping of two similar but slightly different shapes.

Frames are peculiar objects: they are fashion accessories, enhancement devices for aesthetics, yet they are medical devices, precision tools to overcome vision challenges. Some might argue that spectacles are an extension of someone’s closet; for us, it’s about individuality. We don’t let fashion trends rule our style, but we are aware that frames are tools for expression. In the pursuit of the “unique”, we define style with our own point of view. RES/REI
