THE BENEFITS OF OFFICE LENSES

Do you sit in front of a computer all day or do other close-up work for long periods of time? If so, you could probably benefit from wearing an Office lens!

Office lenses are known as “Task Specific” lenses and are meant for people who do a lot of close-up and computer work. Office lenses are different from normal Progressive lenses because they offer a much wider computer and reading area to make it easier and more comfortable to work at these distances for longer.

Office lenses are designed to give you a more relaxed posture to reduce neck and back strain, and there’s no need to put them on and off all the time, like you do with reading glasses. These lenses are meant to be worn inside and offer varying degrees of clear distance vision depending on the type of lens you choose. This in turn will optimise your intermediate and near according to how you will be using the lens. All Office lenses are available with a Blue Coating to reduce eye strain and damage from the blue light that our computers and other devices emit.

Please come in and talk to one of our Optical Assistants about the available Office lens options that we can custom tailor to your specific needs!
